Miles Run Per Week: 25-30

Currently Training For: Rut 28K

Favorite Thing To Do: Doing anything active outside. Run, golf, river surf, & pick-up games like basketball and soccer.

Favorite Thing To For Dessert: Coffee Ice cream.

Why Do You Like Running: Running creates a blend of all the things I enjoy during exercise. A challenge split between the physical endurance during each run, and the mental effort to see just how far can you push yourself.

Favorite Race to Run: I really enjoyed the Bitterroot runoff. Even though this was its first year I really liked the course and can’t wait for it next year.

Favorite Place to Run: Just about anywhere that’s on a trail.

Anything Else You’d Like to Add: I was a total novice when it came to running when I came to college. I would see my teachers running during their breaks and wondered why the hell would anyone want to do that? Why not play sports like soccer or basketball to get your running fix? Today, I can’t imagine going more than a day or so without a run. Trail running has pushed me harder and asked more of my body than almost any sport I have ever played.
