The day started out with John Fiore of Sapphire Physical Therapy and Allison Onstad setting up the course. Hoka was there to let runners take their shoes for a spin on the technical terrain and we had great burgers (thanks Omnibar!) and beer (thanksDraught Works!) once the run finished. And of course, Sapphire PT was there at the end giving complimentary massages to soothe those aching muscles.
A great big thanks to the volunteers who helped out! We’re already looking forward to next year’s race!
Congratulations to all the participants who completed the River City Roots 4-mile Run! In a somewhat smokey valley and in warmer weather, we had over 340 runners and walkers complete the course. An amazing feat!
